Tara Love Blatt To Wed Allen Foster Carter

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dale Blatt of Key West, Florida announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter Tara Love Blatt to Allen Foster Carter, son of Dr. and Mrs. Wayne Elliott Tipps of Chattanooga, Tennessee and the late Allen Humphreys Carter of Athens,Tennessee. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reuel Brooks Atkinson of Tallahassee, Florida and the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Blatt of Key West, Florida.
The bride- to-be graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in studio arts. She is employed with Athens Insurance as an account manager in the Health and Benefits Department.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Katie Sue Foster and the late Robert Allen Foster of Columbia, Tennessee and the late Leonard Allen Carter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sherman of Athens, Tennessee. The groom-to-be graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. He is the owner of Athens Insurance.
The wedding will take place on April 10 in the bride’s hometown of Key West, Florida at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with the reception at Beachside Resort. The couple will reside in Athens, Tennessee.
