First State Bank of the Florida Keys promoted Elizabeth Miranda to Executive Vice President/Risk Manager, Patti Snyder to Counsel for Special Assets/Legal Officer and Shelley Lowe to Senior Collections Coordinator.
Elizabeth Miranda joined First State Bank in 2007 as Senior Vice President/Risk Manager and has 18 years of banking, auditing and regulatory compliance experience.
Miranda holds an Accounting Degree from the Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a registered CPA in Venezuela and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Risk Professional, and Certified Business Manager.
“Elizabeth’s proven track record of excellence in risk management, organizational planning and audit management is a major asset to the Bank,” said Karen Sharp, President and CEO. “Her contribution and dedication to the Bank has assured that we remain designated both well managed and well capitalized by regulators.”
Promoted to Counsel for Special Assets/Legal Officer, Patti Snyder joined First State Bank in 2008 as Special Asset Analyst with extensive legal and business management experience including positions in audit, private practice and Senior Attorney for the FDIC Dallas Regional Office. Snyder holds a BA in Political
Science from Arkansas University and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College Of Law.

Senior Collections Coordinator Shelley Lowe began her career with First State Bank in 2002 as Commercial Loan Processor and was promoted to Collections Coordinator in 2004.
