Daniel Curtis Visits Home

Conch grad Daniel Curtis is now a conductor, pianist, and bassoonist, and is making waves in new York City as a performer of “New” and “Early” music. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst in 2008. He then became the Associate conductor of the Amherst Symphony. Now residing in New York City, he is the Assistant conductor of the Amor Artis Chorale and Period Adjustment Orchestra. Daniel is also the assistant to Maestro David Jackson, staff conductor at the Metropolitan Opera, as well as being employed by the exciting Le Poisson Rouge.
