Most of us spend our lives trying to find ourselves. Joan O’Dowd convincingly portrays a woman who found herself by escaping to Mykonos, a small Greek island. The audience can totally relate as she spins a tale of midlife crisis, with lots of humor. Joan reels the audience in to her wonderful fantasy, and takes them along on an unforgettable journey. Most would never have the audacity to totally relocate and change their life structure as Shirley Valentine does with verve and relish. The show is delightful!
